Today we find out what Reena Wadia is doing during the coronavirus lockdown and what she misses about dentistry.
About Reena Wadia
Reena Wadia graduated from Barts and The London in 2011. She then worked as a senior house officer post at Guy’s Hospital. Here her time was equally split between the restorative and oral surgery departments. During this year, Reena also worked in a general and specialist periodontal practice. All before deciding upon joining the specialty training pathway.
Reena went on to complete a part-time four-year specialty training programme in periodontology, whilst working in practice. She spent several years working with Harley Street Dental Group and Woodford Dental Care. Reena is now primarily works at RW Perio, where she limits her practice to periodontal care. She is also working as an associate specialist at King’s College Dental Hospital.
Reena is passionate about education and was a part-time clinical tutor for the undergraduate as well as the hygiene therapy students at Barts and The London. She really enjoys sharing what I learn through her blog and other journals.
She also endeavours to contribute to the profession through her position at the Faculty of General Dental Practice and British Dental Association. Reena’s other roles include co-editor of the ‘Other Journals in Brief’ section of the British Dental Journal and social media lead for the European Federation of Periodontology.
