Bellegrove Dental Surgery visits local school and TESCO store to raise awareness for National Smile Month

by adminjay

National Smile Month kicks off from 13th May -13th June 2109. This national initiative is the largest and longest-running campaign to promote good oral health in the UK and at Bellegrove Dental Surgery we are visiting a local school and supermarket to raise awareness.

Two of our experienced Dental Nurses will be visiting St Stephens primary school in Welling to deliver a lesson on brushing and how to maintain a healthy mouth. Each child will be given a free goodie bag which includes a toothbrush and toothpaste.

Several members of our team will be visiting the TESCO superstore in Welling to give out information leaflets on oral health such as, brushing, flossing and general importance of regular dental visits. We will also be providing toothpaste samples for customers and answering any questions they may have.

We have also set up a stand in our waiting room with information leaflets for patients to take home and activity books for the children on healthy mouths.

At Bellegrove we will be supporting National Smile Month by visiting a local school on May 10th giving children brushing instructions/techniques as well as a fun goody bag to take home. On May 25th we will also be visiting Tesco, Welling, where we will provide customers and staff with oral health advice information and free samples of toothpaste.
