The very first Online CPD Dentistry Show drew to a close yesterday, after more than 18,000 people registered.
Thanks to Oral-B, FMC launched the inaugural Online CPD Dentistry Show giving delegates nine hours of ECPD. Profits from the event are going to support the NHS and the work it is doing during the coronavirus crisis.
At the time of writing, 18,318 people had registered for the show. Most of the lectures will still be available to view until this Sunday on www.dentistrystudyclub.com.
‘With more than 18,000 registrants the show dwarfed other UK dental webinars,’ Tim Molony, digital director at FMC, said. ‘This was probably the largest online dental event the world has ever seen. It’s a terrific testament to the FMC community and its support for the NHS.
‘Initial feedback from the show is overwhelmingly positive too. I think delegates really enjoyed how interactive it was and we look forward to welcoming them back for more webinars soon.’

‘This is the first Online CPD Dentistry Show FMC has put on and judging by the positive feedback and number of registrations, it won’t be the last. And, by attending the Online CPD Dentistry Show, you are also helping fund the vital work our frontline NHS staff are doing.’
