Welland Smiles Dentistry, located in Welland, Ontario, is a 2900-square-foot space offering patients an eight-operatory dental office that is both functional and calming.
One of the main goals of Welland Smiles Dentistry is to create a light and welcoming environment for patients visiting their new location. This is achieved by the abundance of natural light
at reception, waiting and kids’ areas. To help project a soothing environment for patients, the practice is designed to be open and welcoming. This is achieved with a palette of neutral tones and materials, such as light wood, quartz, herringbone porcelain tile and glass partitions.
High ceilings, in conjunction with lowered architectural dropped ceilings, define the spaces and create an organic flow, allowing patients entering the office to easily navigate their way to reception to check-in for appointments.
The waiting area is full of natural light, allowing for multiple seating arrangements. Chairs and ottomans provide good site lines for promotional services and television. A filtered water system is also provided to enhance comfort.
Operatories are light in tone with textured, linear wallcovering and luxury vinyl tile and, in some ops, full height windows. Custom-designed dental cabinets continue defining the calming palette, complimented by the taupe dental chairs.
Oomph designed the space featuring unique, custom design elements, photography and art, as well as an integrated branding and signage program. All were incorporated to define the office as a unique offering to patients.
