Online Dentistry Show – combating dentine hypersensitivity

by adminjay

Victoria Wilson, David Gillam, Reena Wadia and Siobhan Kelleher will discuss how we can combat dentine hypersensitivity at the Online Dentistry Show this March.

Dentine hypersensitivity is often hard to diagnose. Its prevalence may be far greater than commonly thought (at 60% according to a recent poll). It severely impacts the quality of life for many people.

During this dental webinar several highly regarded clinical experts will explore the many challenges faced in the management of dentine hypersensitivity in a clinical setting. From diagnosis to causation, and including how to engage with patients to optimise treatment at home.

One of the hardest aspects of oral health is behavioural change. The panel will therefore discuss connecting with patients regarding improving their diet and brushing technique.

The experts will also provide clinical ‘take-aways’ for use by dental professionals in practice for effective management of DH. These include sharing an established ‘diagnosis test’ and ‘treatment path’.
