America’s ToothFairy, a resource provider for increased access to oral health care, is receiving more than 20 million dollars in dental supplies and equipment this year for their Dental Resource Program (DRP) members.

American ToothFairy supports 31 nonprofit clinics and community partners to deliver education and treatment services for underserved children. SS White Dental is one of the dental manufacturers that donated more than 1.2 million dollars worth of carbide and diamond burrs.

“We believe that nonprofit dental clinics are the best way to ensure that all families can access the dental home their children need to treat dental disease and prevent tooth decay from happening in the first place,” said Jill Malmgren, executive director of America’s ToothFairy. “Safety-net clinics can break the cycle of poor oral health in low-income and underserved areas with support from the dental community.”

American ToothFairy has partnerships with many major dental companies who donate supplies for the nonprofit dental clinics. Over 10 million kids and caregivers from underserved communities across the U.S. have been treated by the DRP since 2006. Other companies that have recently donated products include Cosmedent, GC America, Tokuyama, Crest and Oral-B, and SmileMakers.
