Partner Resources for COVID-19

by adminjay

During this difficult time, Dental Lifeline Network wanted to share resources from our partner organizations that might be helpful for other dental professionals. If your organization has a resource that you would like to see included, please contact Jennifer at jvenerable@dentallifeline.org.

For Dental Office Managers and Practice Administrators: In response to the COVID-19 outbreak, The American Association of Dental Office Managers (AADOM) is opening up ALL member benefits so dental office management teams across the country can have timely access to information, educational resources and community support from our tribe. New members can join at no charge until April 15, 2020. Feel free to share with a friend. www.dentalmanagers.com #AADOMCARES

For All Dental Professionals: you can do your part to keep the Urgent Cares and ERs free of dental emergencies by staying open for essential care during this time. The Smile Generation team has created a PSA to educate the public on where they should go in the case they have a dental emergency. Click here for the video our team has created.

For Dental Laboratory Owners and Technicians: In response to the COVID-19 outbreak, The National Association of Dental Laboratories (NADL) regularly updates their Facebook page (www.facebook.com/NADL1951) with relevant business updates regarding the impact of COVID-19 and has a host of additional resources and recorded webinars available on their website https://nadl.org/news/. The National Board for Certification (NBC) extended the grace period for CDTs and RGs to complete their continuing education to 90-days from a CDTs renewal deadline. This provides an additional three months beyond a CDTs or RGs given deadline to complete all continuing education requirements. The Foundation for Dental Laboratory Technology (FDLT) announced that it is making all of its Foundation Learning Library courses available to the dental laboratory community at no charge through May 31, 2020 (www.dentallabfoundation.org/courses).
