Premier Dental has been named to Fast Company’s prestigious annual list of the World’s Most Innovative Companies for 2023.
This year’s list highlights the businesses at the forefront of their respective industries, paving the way for the innovations of tomorrow. These companies are setting the standard with some of the greatest accomplishments of the modern world. In addition to the World’s 50 Most Innovative Companies, 540 organizations are recognized across 54 sectors and regions.
“This recognition is truly amazing,” said Julie Charlestein, izzo founder and CEO, and CEO of Premier Dental. “After just one year we are in the ranks with Spotify, Airbnb and Chipotle! I am grateful to the hardworking teams at Premier, izzo and our partners. We are excited for what’s to come.”
The first and only of its kind, izzo is more than an ordinary toothbrush. It is a comprehensive system that contains virtually everything patients need to achieve the most optimal oral health in between their dental visits.
The system includes:
- An oscillating electric toothbrush with a timer and three cleaning modes: ultra, daily, and gentle
• A low abrasive enamel polishing paste and safe “oscillating” polishing cup
• A high-performance ‘patient-friendly’ scaler with a flexible tip for gentle and safe at-home plaque & soft debris removal
• A UVC sanitizer that kills 99.9% of germs,*1 including bacteria and viruses
With izzo, professionals and their patients can feel confident in the efficacy of the 4-in-1, as it is based in science and data. The system has been clinically shown to remove stains 73% better than advanced whitening toothpastes,†1with 45% less abrasion.†1 Concomitantly, it has 93% better cleaning efficiency than advanced whitening toothpastes.‡1
Fast Company’s editors and writers sought out the companies making the biggest strides around the globe. They also judged nominations received through their application process.

Everyone on this list does something completely, uniquely different, yet, they all have one thing in common: innovation,” said Fast Company editor-in-chief Brendan Vaughan.
