The Oral Health Foundation took responsibility for the Mouth Cancer Action campaign back in 2003, and ever since then, Simplyhealth Professionals (then Denplan) have supported us all the way.
They have been Mouth Cancer Action Month’s main sponsor for more than 15 years, and their support even extends before we took over the running of the campaign. Simplyhealth Professionals have helped us raise awareness of the disease, which until that time, really had been slipping under the radar.
Much of the work we do to campaign for mouth cancer awareness simply would not be possible without their continued support so it’s a partnership that everybody at the Oral Health Foundation truly values.
As a leading voice within the dental industry, Simplyhealth Professionals is passionate about promoting the key messages around mouth cancer awareness and making a difference alongside their 6,500 member dentists who care for around 1.7 million patients.
In addition to their support of the main campaign, Simplyhealth Professionals have run their social media campaign #BlueLipSelfie.
#BlueLipSelfie has become a positive and interactive approach to significantly boost awareness of mouth cancer and promote the good news that early detection gives a good chance of beating the disease. It also encourages everyone to share a visible sign of their support for mouth cancer awareness.
