InventHelp Inventor Develops Improved Sensor for Digital Dental X-Rays – Dentistry Today

by adminjay

“I’m a dental hygienist and my number one complaint from my patients is how uncomfortable the current dental digital X-ray sensor is. They hate getting X-rays,” said an InventHelp inventor from Greenwood, S.C. “It is 2022 and I thought it was time to evolve the dental digital X-ray sensor one more time, so I invented Sensiform X. This new digital sensor would provide comfort to all patients and allow them to bite all the way down comfortably so dental professionals can obtain more accurate images.”

The patent-pending invention provides an improved sensor for taking dental X-rays of teeth. In doing so, it allows the patient to comfortably bite down for enhanced images, thus increasing accuracy. Additionally, Sensiform X can be used for patients with mandibular tori or extra bony growths in the floor of their mouth, enabling them to comfortably bite all the way down to obtain more accurate images for a better diagnosis. The invention features a durable and waterproof design that is easy to use and disinfect, making it ideal for dental offices. It can be produced in sizes for children and adults.

The original design was submitted to the Columbia sales office of InventHelp. It is currently available for licensing or sale to manufacturers or marketers.
