ATLANTA—Carestream Dental has partnered with the prestigious Howard University to provide innovative digital solutions to students at its College of Dentistry. With an in-kind gift of technology valued at $430K, the partnership was designed to arm students and fellows with the knowledge, skills and resources needed as it pertains to digital technology to deliver the best care when they start practicing.
Howard University College of Dentistry students can look forward to training with some of the most advanced digital dentistry technology in the industry from Carestream Dental. And Howard patients will experience first-hand how digital dentistry technology makes dental treatment more approachable.
Carestream Dental is also supporting Howard University Hospital’s (HUH) Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Post-Doctoral Program and General Dentistry Practice Residency Program. The new 3D cone beam CT systems will equip the hospital’s dental department with state-of-the-art diagnostic and treatment imaging capabilities. This Carestream Dental technology places HUH at the forefront of providing advanced surgical and facial reconstructive services.
