Jim Glidewell himself put the news out on his LinkedIn page. He has chosen a new CEO for Glidewell Dental in Stephenie Goddard, a longtime colleague. They have worked side by side for over a decade now and she has earned the trust of the company. With how much the company has planned, Jim Glidewell decided to step aside only slightly and let another hand on the wheel.
Mr. Glidewell’s post went as such, “May I present the new CEO of Glidewell: Stephenie Goddard. No, I’m not leaving the wheelhouse. But with all that we’re doing in an effort to improve the lives of dentists and their patients, I could use another hand at the helm! After 15 years working alongside her, I know of no one better suited to serve the needs of our customers and our industry. Please join me in thanking her and wishing her well!”
After a bunch of comments doing exactly that and wishing her well, Stephenie Goddard said, “Thank you everyone for the words of encouragement. I am truly humbled and grateful to Jim Glidewell for his trust and confidence in me. I am looking forward to getting more time to learn from this great man. The last 15 years have been amazing. I’m truly excited for the years ahead! Our future is bright.”
According to her LinkedIn profile, Stephenie Goddard is “A senior executive with nearly 30 years of leadership experience across multiple sectors including professional services, federal government, finance and medical device. She has a proven track record of growing a profitable business, launching new products and developing new markets. She has demonstrated her management and leadership skills in several large-scale transformation initiatives including the implementation of CRM, ERP, and HRIS systems; the development and implementation of new performance management program, compensation and competency programs; and oversight of multiple restructuring initiatives.”
